An Establishing Not-For-Profit Organization
It all started when an article was published in a local news paper. The article was about my son who had a 10th birthday, convoy parade. Nathen (10) loves trucks and has a very passionate heart. He comes from a family of owner-operators and over the road truck-drivers. Over the years, Nathen’s grandfather has discussed with him his joy, photos, videos and memories of what was known as the ‘Share-A-Dream.’ The Share-A-Dream was an event that took place in the 1990's. This event provided rides for children with a terminal illness and or disibility. As for a young boy, Nathen became passionate about his trucks and felt that it was time to spread the love with others. He said "nobody should feel alone and everyone should be able to experience, of what I love most". Nathen has expressed how he wanted to share his love of trucks with everyone for a while now. His passion has only grown and after experiencing a convoy parade himself, he has really pushed for event to be brought to Chautauqua County, New York. Here we are today, creating and establishing the Horns of Hope Convoy for individuals with a disability or illness!
